We really are truly grateful to Anita for taking such great care of our cats over the last 9 years that we have been bringing our cats to Choletria Mill. We and Chloe and Scraggy are now safely installed in our new, temporary, home in Valencia and we are keeping our fingers crossed that we will be able to find a cattery here is Spain as wonderful as Choletria Mill. Knowing that the cats were so well looked after and receiving such loving attention gave us complete peace of mind whenever we made an occasional trip out of Cyprus. If Anita were a cat she would be a beautiful Russian Blue, with a tinge of tabby, of course, for good measure - making her perfect in every way!

Anita is currently looking after our brood while we find a home back in the UK. I was really concerned what to do with them, but after getting so many recommendations for Choletria Mill Cattery ( and after meeting Anita ) I had no doubt where they should stay. They are in lovely pens, get to mingle with each other during the day, and are in a stunning and safe environment. They have all taken to Anita so well, she even looked after one who was recovering from an operation for a fractured leg. She also deals with my daily check in really well....and I got a video call today so I could see them all...If you want somewhere safe and loving for your fur babies to stay...then this is the place ❤️❤️

Svetlana and I just want to thank you for the great care and affection you showed to our Cindy!

Your cattery came with a great reputation and recommendation and I can confirm it's fully justified and we will have no qualms in using your services again or indeed recommending your cattery ourselves!

Cindy was thoroughly spoilt and obviously enjoyed herself and was happy in your company....indeed we get the impression she wants the same full time services now she is at home with us!!

Anita, I just wanted to leave you some praise for you to use (or not- whatever you wish) on the website.

When I first got in touch with Anita she was nothing short of brilliant. I thought my request of "could my Mum bring in a ferel hotel cat that's really tame for 7 weeks while we go through the motions of bringing him back to Essex" might concern her but I could not have been more wrong.

Gingie arrived with my Mum and a member of hotel staff who'd driven her to The Mill and was welcoming and so comforting to Mum. Gingie stayed at the Mill for 7 weeks in total, 5 of which he only had Anita and Dave to visit him and I don't think he minded one bit! Anita slowly got him into 'normal' life and by the time we arrived on the island he was a settled little boy and clearly totally in love with Anita.

She was hugely flexible with us visiting g while we were in Cyprus and had a car, and didn't mind my Lycra clad husband turning up on his bike either!

Anita was wonderful in getting Gingie to the vet for his final jabs and for his fit to fly appointment.

NOTHING is too much trouble for Anita or Dave. The Mill Cattery is a wonderful place and they look after the cats in their care as they would their own. She even sent me daily pics of our lad!!

If you need a cattery, you'd be bonkers not to use Choletria Mill. If I lived in Cyprus I'd travel the island to get to them!

I always used to feel guilty about putting my cats into a cattery when I went away, but not anymore.  It was such a relief to find Anita and Choletria Mill Cattery. 

My cats seem happy, fond of Anita and quite at home there.  They didn’t seem in a hurry to come home when I picked them up last time.  Anita spends a lot of time in the cattery, fussing over the cats and giving them lots of attention.  She’s obviously very fond of the cats she looks after, as when I pick up/drop her my cats she always tell little stories about her other guests.

I really can’t recommend Choletria Mill Cattery highly enough.

We have been using Choletria Mill Cattery for a number of years now, i.e. 2/3 times a year.

Our cat Dyson loves going there, and we go away knowing he is well looked after.

Anita attends to all he needs he is a very demanding cat.

My name is Casper and I am the much loved head of the Bailey household in Pissouri Cyprus.

I have to keep 2 people and 2 dogs in order on a daily basis. I usually manage this by taking them for a walk down our road at least once and demanding they have my favourite food in my bowl at set times.
But every so often I need a well deserved break! Then I check myself into the Choletria Mill Cattery for some pampering.

David and Anita treat me like family there. They reserve the room I like best and make sure my favourite toys are to hand; helping me find them anew every morning!
 
Anita  even has a chair in my room, so she can provide an especially comfortable lap to sit on and all the affection I deserve.

I get my favourite food and usually put on some weight, although I am not sure why as I regularly get the run of the corridor all to myself and have a special high shelf I can jump up on and consider which of my neighbours I want to give some time to.
I get my coat brushed, my health monitored and my moods and demands catered to.

I give my people and dogs up to 6 weeks to go their respective ways and the time flies. Anita and David are very sorry to see me leave and they give a very full report of what I have been up to during my stay. I expect it is to make my people jealous!

Make sure you get the cat's whiskers in Cyprus when you need a short or long break. Look forward to meeting you there!

We found Choletria Mill Cattery through Petz Stop and are very happy we did.  We relocated recently from Ireland, and toured a few facilities, none of which filled us with confidence.  

Our two cats, Sushi and Haggis, pretty much hate going to "jail" and we stress about how they are doing for the entire vacation.  They are both pretty spoiled, but Sushi more so than most…Anita gamely gives Sushi her choice of abode when possible.  

Thankfully most rooms do have a view!  Haggis is a bit nervous and used to hide in previous catteries, but he just loves Anita's.  We have never seen him settle so quickly and remain so calm.  Anita gives the cats equal time in the hallway so they can run around and visit the other residents, and we really like that she spends time with the cats during the day.  

The fact that we willingly drive almost one hour each way to drop them off and pick them up pretty much says it all!  HIghly recommended, although be sure to book early to avoid disappointment…Anita is becoming too well known!

I have no hesitation in recommending the Mill Cattery at Choletria run by Anita Edwards.

Having been a cat owner since coming to the Island 9 years ago and tried many different Catteries I was delighted to be introduced to The Mill Cattery which is situated in a lovely setting on the outskirts of Choletria in the river valley.

The cattery is modern and well-appointed with large airy pens.  All pens have external views of the surrounding country side so cats can watch what is happening outside.  Ample shade is provided together with fans to keep the boarders cool in the hot summer months.

Each pen has elevated shelves for the cats to jump up to and chairs for them to lounge on together with a cosy sleeping baskets complete with a pillow.  There are ample toys and scratching posts to keep even the most robust cats happy during their stay.

I have found Anita to be a devoted cat lover who ensures all cats get a share of time on the corridor to exercise and play.  Special dietary needs are catered for and good quality food provided.
Anita is very flexible about drop off and collection time which is an important consideration for me because we live some distance away in Peyia.

Our cat loves going to Anita's cattery. She has been visiting The Mill at least once a year for the last six years. She has a large, very comfortable room with en suite bathroom and soft bedding. She is fed delicious food regularly and she is allowed to wander the corridor safely under supervision.

Once when she was feeling poorly, Anita diagnosed the problem, telephoned her owners to tell them of her concern and whisked her off to the vet. Our cat was restored to full health and finished her stay very happily.

We would highly recommend this de luxe cattery which is in beautiful countryside. Anita has a wealth of knowledge about cats and treats each one with love and care. This cat hotel is the best we have found  in Cyprus and we will continue to use the cattery in the future.

I have been using The Mill Cattery for over 2 years and would not put my cat anywhere else. Anita provides a wonderful service and is very caring and thoughtful towards the cats that she looks after.

The cattery itself is well designed and secure, the pens are spacious, airy and comfortable, with soft furnishings, a chair and some high shelves that my cat absolutely loves to sit on to watch the world go by. The central corridor provides a good space for the cats to run around and play with the numerous toys that Anita keeps there, and they are each given plenty of time out of their pens.

I have a very sweet but slightly timid cat who demands a lot of attention and has a fussy appetite, but whenever I return to pick her up from The Mill, I find her happy and relaxed, beautifully groomed and not at all bothered about coming home with me! I have also used the home collection service when I was pushed for time, and this really helped me out – although I prefer to drive to Choletria myself and take in those beautiful views.
